Where are epigenetic illnesses? Epigenetic illnesses are almost everywhere

Bodies are keyed to ingesting RDA-like amounts. Where bodies ingest more than RDA-like amounts enzymes are upregulated and as coutervailing steps genetic loci closely connected to such enzymes become hypermethylated turning off transcriptions of genes.


For fatty acids and/or carbohydrates RDAs as set are of less than zip assistances. A range of fatty acids in moderate amounts is required where such fatty acids can be obtained from canola oil and refined coconut oil. Carbohydrates are required but only in modest amounts where such carbohydrates can be obtained from mixed vegetables.


There was no RDA-like amount for sugar 4000 years ago. Sugar was not in diets of until very recently No amount of sugar in diets is appropriate.


Sometimes there are no RDA-like amounts for example for caffeine. Enzymes can still be upregulated where as countervailing steps genetic loci closely connected to such enzymes can become hypermethylated turning off transcriptions of genes closely connected to such genetic loci.


More is required for diets that are appropriate besides ingesting only RDA-like amounts Dietary antioxidants have to be avoided excepting around RDA amounts of vitamin C and vitamin E. See this post.


As a strong rule of thumb where more than RDA-like amounts are ingested genetic loci are going to become hypermethylated. Illnesses and/or various other difficulties can develop where such genetic loci become hypermethylated. For example genetic loci closely connected to carbamoyl phosphate synthetase which is needed to synthesize L-arginine can become hypermethylated due to drinking carbonated drinks. See this post.


 DNA demethylases and/or histone demethylases can become dysregulated. What gets DNA demethylases and/or histone demethylases to work again is not clear.
