Linus Pauling committed a horrific fraud with vitamin C

Linus Pauling claimed to have taken 18 grams of vitamin C day for decades. Also see this video. 18 grams of vitamin C a day is a dosage that is extremely toxic. Linus Pauling did not take 18 grams of vitamin C a day.

 

UDP-alpha-D-glucuronate is produced by UDP-glucose 6-dehydrogenase (UGDH) .

UGDH is key enzyme involved in synthesis of vitamin C in various animals, for example, goats. Even though UGDH is not involved in syntheses of vitamin C in human beings vitamin C could inhibit UGDH in human beings where there are prolonged exposures to high dosages of vitamin C.

 

Uridine diphosphate (UDP) is synthesized from uridine monophosphate. Uridine triphosphate which is required for RNA synthesis is synthesized from uridine diphosphate.

 

Where uridine triphosphate synthesis is decreased protein translation is dysregulated as RNA is not synthesized appropriately. Even where megadosages of vitamin C are stopped protein levels do not reset. Synthesis of proteins key to synthesis of uridine monophosphate are dysreguulated.

 

Subsequent to taking megadosages dosages of vitamin C besides back pain and/or neck pain peripheral neuropathy can develop due to dysregulation of synthesis of RNA. Where high dosage of vitamin C have been taken more than around RDA dosages of vitamin C have to be stopped and calcium orotate has to be supplemented three times a day where dinners are eaten.

 

Where there are deficiencies of uridine monophosphate muscle pains can also develop. UDP-glucose is needed for glycogen storage. Glycogen storage illnesses can result in pain and/or fatigue in muscles.

 

Megadosages of vitamin C hugely increase adverse effects of more than around RDA levels of almost every supplement. Where high dosages of nutrients are taken enzymes upregulate but countervailing steps are taken where genetic loci closely connected to such enzymes become hypermethylated where transcriptions of genes closely connected to such enzymes is decreased. Where high dosages of vitamin C have been taken protein levels do not rcset upon stopping more than around RDA levels of nutrients.

 

Around 3600 milligrams of calcium orotate is supplemented three times a day on bascially empty stomachs for increased absorptions of orotate. Calcium orotate is around 11% calcium and 89% orotate for a calcium dosage around 400 milligrams. Orotate is used to synthesize uridine monophosphate through uridine monophosphate synthetase. See top left of diagram.

 

Around 3600 milligrams of calcium orotate has around 400 milligrams of calcium.  Calcium orotate marketed by Bulksupplements is supplemented.

 

Around 1500 mg. of magnesium orotate is supplemented three times a day on basically empty stomachs for increased absorptions of orotate. Magnesium orotate is around 7% magnesium where 1500 mg of magnesium orate would deliver around a 100 mg dosage of magnesium. Magnesium orotate marketed by BulkSupplements is supplemented.

 

Where calcium orotate is supplemented individuals would have to adhere to a treatment for seasonal affective disorder. See this post. In treatment of seasonal affective disorder vitamin K2 MK-7 is supplemented where calcium is supplemented.

 

Reducing synthesis of PRPP would also reduce synthesis of pyrimidines which could be lethal. See this diagram. Megadogages of vitamin C could decrease levels of orotate from which uridine monophosphate is synthesized.

 

Megadosages of vitamin C could have adverse effects on bicarbonate through reacting with bicarbonate particularly in gastrointestinal tracts and/or livers. Bicarbonate is required for carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase II which is at start of synthesis of pyrimidines. Uridine monophosphate is a pyrimidine.

 

Ascorbic acid has a pH of between 2 and 3. Bicarbonate has a pH of 9. Ascorbic acid is poorly absorbed particularly in megadosages. Ascorbic acid would stay in gastrointestinal tracts for a long time where ascorbic acid would react with bicarbonate.

 

Not all reactions of carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase II use bicarbonate but all would be affected by dysregulations of bicarbonate metabolism. Carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase II would be affected by dysregulations of bicarbonate metabolism affecting all reactions of carbamoyl--phosphate synthetase II. 

 

Subsequent to deficiencies of uridine monophosphate deficiencies of uridine monophosphate would keep on increasing. Drinking sodas and/or other carbonated drinks would worsen difficulties by decreasing activities of carbamoyl-phosphate synthetase II. See this post.

 

Uridine monophosphate is not supplemented. Supplementing uridine monophosphate is not effective. Orotate from which uridine monophosphate in synthesized is supplemented.

 

800 micrograms of folic acid marketed by Bluebonnet is supplemented 3 times a day on basically empty stomachs. Folic acid supplemented on basically empty stomachs is much more effective than taken where dinners are eaten. More than 800 micrograms of folic acid marketed by Bluebonnet in a dosage is not better and more than 2400 micrograms of folic marketed by Bluebonnet taken in a day is not better.

 

5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate which is synthesized from folic acid is a cofactor for thymidylate synthetase which synthesizes deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP) from dUMP. Where there are shortages of uridine monophosphate there could be shortages of dTMP which is required for DNA synthesis. See this article.

 

Supplementations of folic acid would not be of assistances without supplementation of orotate. Supplementation with folic acid could result in depletions of already deficient amounts of uridine monophosphate unless orotate is supplemented. Supplemnetation with methylfolate would not be of assistances as methylfolate is an enzyme beyond 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate.

 

Glucose is not in short supply. UTP is in short supply for UDP-glucose.

 

Hyaluronic acid is synthesized from UDP-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl glucosamine. Hyaluronic acid is required for glycosaminoglycan synthesis which is required for formation of cartilage.

 

Genetic loci closely connected to UGDH which produces UDP-glucuronate could be hypermethylated. Another way to produce UDP-glucurorate has to be used.


Myo-inositol is metabolized to D-glucuronate. Myo-inositol is a name for inositol.


3-4 grams of inositol is supplemented 3 times a day on basically empty stomachs. Inositol marketed by Bulksupplements is supplemented.

 

From D-glucuronate beta-glucuronidase can produce beta-D-glucuronoside From beta-D-glucuronoside glucuronosyltransferase  can produce UDP-g[ururonate.

 

Synthesis of glycosaminoglycans also requires uridine diphosphate-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc), Deficiencies of uridine triphosphate also adversely affect synthesis of glycosaminoglycans through deficiencies of UDP-GlcNAc,

 

Around 2000 milligrams of N-acetylglucosamine is supplemented 3-5 times a day on basically empty stomachs where calcium orotate, magnesium orotate. inositol and folic acid are supplemented. N-acetylglucosamine is placed on tongues and swallowed where water is drunk.

 

N-acetylglucosamine marketed by Bulksupplements is supplemented. Glucosamine that is not N-acetylglucosamine is not taken due due to glucosamine that is not N-acetyl glucosamine being contaminated with solvents.

 

Dietary antioxidants other than around RDA amounts of vitamin C and vitamin E can undermine global overviews but vitamin C in megadosages has additional adverse effects that can be very long lasting and very disabling in regards to back pain, neck pain, muscle pains and/or peripheral neuropathy.

 

To correct difficulties besides supplementing calcium orotate, magnesium orotate, inositol, N-acetylglucosamine and folic acid a diet that eliminates antioxidants except for around RDA amounts of vitamin C and vitamin E has to be gone on. See this post on a recipe free ketogenic diet.

 

Proteins that respond to dietary antioxidants are at low levels. Dietary antioxidants except for around RDA amounts of vitamin C and vitamin E which optimally are avoided can not be handled even in amounts that are not unusual. Megadosages of vitamin C adversely affects thousand of proteins.

 

Only water is safe to drink. 100 mg caffeine pills marketed by Bulksupplements could be taken where acetylcholine levels and dopamine level are increased and where a treatment for seasonal affective disorder is adhered to. See this post. Also see this post.

 

1000 milligrams of vitamin C or more supplemented a day is a taking a megadosage of vitamin C. More than around RDA dosages of vitamin C should not ever be supplemented.

 

Linus Pauling committed a horrific fraud in regards to vitamin C and persisted in such a fraud for decades. Besides almost endlessly advising individuals to take megadosages of vitamin C Linus Pauling also initiated orthomolecular medicine which is made lots worse by high dosages of vitamin C as protein levels can not be reset subsequent to cessations of megadosages of nutrients.

 

Why did Linus Pauling hold that Pauling could get away with such a horrific fraud? RNA and DNA synthesis is adversely affected by megadosage of vitamin C where difficulties arise from almost everywhere.

 

Orthomolecular medicine which increases enzyme activities but which results in countervailing steps that result in methylations of genetic loci closely connected to such enzymes was pushed by Linus Pauling to exponentially worsen effects of megadosages of vitamin C. Where megadoages of vitamin C are supplemented protein levels can not reset even subsequent to megadosages of vitatmin C being stopped unless orotate levels are increased and only around RDA dosages of vitamin C are supplemented a day.

 

Almost all Linus Pauling had to do was grasp was that megadosages of vitamin C were extremely toxic which could have been disclosed by individuals in the supplements industry who get zillions of complaints in regards to supplements. Linus Pauling subsequently had to check out uridine levels which is needed to synthesize vitamin C and RNA levels and push orthomolecular medicine which concealed extremely toxic effects of megadosages of vitamin C as with medosages of vitimin C and orthomolecular medicine difficulties are coming from almost everywhere.
