A deal with the government of the island of Greenland

The United States could purchase 3/4s of the island of Greenland where the 3/4s would be in the northern and eastern portions of the island of Greenland where almost all the inhabitable coast of the island of Greenland would be retained by Greenlanders. Purchase price of the northern and eastern 3/4s of the island of Greenland is used to purchase an index fund that tracks the 500 largest corporations in the United States where capitalizations of corporations decide what percentages of the index fund stocks in such corporations are.

A new index fund is not set up. The purchase price of the northern and eastern 3/4s of Greenland would be used to purchase stocks in an already set up index fund where percentages of stocks in such a fund are a result of capitalizations of such stocks. See SPLG. Greenlanders would have investments in the United States.

A key point of such a deal is that the index fund can not be managed except in regards to altering percentages of stocks in such an index fund due to altered capitalizations of such stocks. Actively managed wealth funds of lands have very frequently been ripped off by individuals who actively managed such funds. The deal would be set up so the deal could not be modified in any way except in regards to impossibility.

The deal would allow the government of Greenlanders whose capitol is Nuuk to use half of the yearly growth in such an index fund and dividends from such an index fund in ways the government of Greenlnaders holds appropriate. Impossibility is the only proviso that could alter the deal where such as index fund ceases operations as such an index fund where stocks in another index fund similar to the original index fund would be purchased. The government of Greenlanders could from proceeds from half the yearly growth of the index fund and dividends from the index fund set up an emergency fund for example by purchasing investment grade bonds.

The parliament in Nuuk would have to declare independence from Copenhagen for the deal to go through. Approval by the Danish parliament for independence of Nuuk from Copenhagen would not be required. The deal could be signed immediately subsequent to the parliament in Nuuk declaring independence from Copenhagen where the United State and Nuuk would also sign a defense treaty which stipulated that Nuuk would be defended by the United States.
